Why me?
It’s a question that seems simple, yet can hold you back for days, weeks, years, potentially lifetimes.
🤦🏻♂️
It is so easy to get caught up with trying to figure out WHY and is a very dangerous loop to be stuck in.
Why did they leave me, why did I get so angry, why am I in this position of sadness, why are we always fighting?
We easily slip into a victim archetype here which usually makes us feel sorry for ourselves, alone and unworthy.
In truth, we should be focusing on where to put your attention now and let go of the attachment.
However this does take practice and patience, but these are worthy traits to learn on your path.
Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting everything you did before that moment. It means internally letting go of the attachment you hold to a certain time in your life which is weighing you down and holding you back from being your highest self.
Instead of asking ‘why me’
Ask, how can I grow from this?
How would my highest self respond to this?
You can’t control what happens to you in life, but you can control how you respond to it. By asking the right questions, you can unlock the valuable answers which will set you free🙏🏼
