How is this different to a regular PT?

CHEK practitioners, like Choc, stand out from traditional coaches by incorporating holistic practices that consider all aspects of health. Their approach aligns with Traditional Chinese Medicine, emphasising balance within the body through the Yin-Yang principles and the organ meridian system. Additionally, CHEK practitioners apply the Chakra system to identify physical pains and explore their connection to psychological or energetic imbalances, creating a comprehensive view of the body-mind connection.

CHEK assessments are notably in-depth, far beyond the usual brief client waiver. Practitioners utilise various methods to assess core stability, spinal alignment, pelvic positioning, and overall holistic health, ensuring a detailed profile of each client. This meticulous approach allows them to craft highly personalised health plans that address not just physical symptoms but also deeper underlying factors impacting wellness.

1) Gut reset protocol

Did you know that 90% of your immune system is located in the small intestines? As well as being the immune system it is where a lot of nutrients also get absorbed!

However this can be compromised due to constant inflammation, food intolerances leading to autoimmune diseases or malnourishment. This looks like fatigue, bloating, IBS or bacteria overgrowth.

This cleanse will give you the knowledge to take control of your health inside and out to keep your immune system healthy by re establishing a healthy gut bacteria so that you can absorb nutrients that come its way.

We generally recommend doing the cleanse twice per year for general cleansing and detoxifying of the body.

A 30 day commitment that will help you clean your gut which intern will clean your whole perspective.

Note: You must repeat the cleanse if parasites are found in the last week as parasites may have laid eggs in that time.

2) Self myofascial release products

Fascia releasing is a great way to expand the life and fluidity of your body. It works by open up the tight areas of the fascia which are stuck or tangled enabling the tissue to flow with more efficiency.

A great way to calm the nervous system. As you release tension throughout the body you can expect a sense of calmness come over your body which works well before bed after a long day.

3) Workshops

These workshops are ideal for small businesses or workplaces looking to enhance team relationships, boost health, and create a more supportive work environment.

Our range of foundational programmes is ideal for individuals ready to dive into exercise on their own, without the need for ongoing weekly guidance. Circadian clock

Sleep importance

October 21, 20232 min read

“Our sleep starts when we wake up

Are you tired of feeling tired all the time? Do you often find yourself reaching for that extra cup of coffee just to stay awake? Well, my friend, it's time to talk about the importance of sleep. Yes, you heard it right - sleep!

Now, you might be wondering, what's the big deal about sleep? Well, let me tell you, sleep is not just a time when you catch up on your favorite dreams. It's actually a crucial part of your overall health and well-being. And it all has to do with something called circadian rhythm.

You see, our bodies have an internal clock that regulates various bodily functions, including our sleep-wake cycle. This internal clock is known as the circadian rhythm. And when it comes to sleep, the circadian rhythm plays a vital role in ensuring that we get the right amount of shut-eye. It actually starts when your eyes hit the sun!

But that's not all. Sleep also helps regulate our hormones, such as melatonin and cortisol. Melatonin, also known as the sleep hormone, helps us fall asleep and stay asleep. Melatonin also helps with digestion and mood regulation. And cortisol, the stress hormone, helps us wake up and feel energized in the morning, aid in inflammation and producing energy.

Excessive cortisol can cause a lot of stress on the body. It is caused from our body reacting to an event. Depending on our programming will determine how stressful that event is.

So, if you want to have more energy, recover from a long day, and keep your hormones in check, you better start prioritizing your sleep. Make sure you create a sleep-friendly environment, with a comfortable mattress and a dark, quiet room. And don't forget to establish a bedtime routine that signals your body it's time
